Emma was a delight to design for her and i absolutely loved reading her brand questionnaire as to how her business came about and where the name originated from. In her questionnaire Emma writes "The name Frankie Lane comes from our house that we lived in in Brussels. We lived on Rue Francois Vander Elst, turns out he is actually a soccer player, and it’s a one way lane. Hence, Frankie Lane!" She talks about the cobblestone lane that she lived on and even sent me photos for inspiration.
I really wanted to incorporate the meaning of the name in her logo and throughout her branding and i created the little coloured pebbles in her logo as the "cobblestones" that were in her photos and the lane she lived on. I cleverly turned the 'K' into a needle and complimented this gorgeous text this with outline font.
I love the way the 'cobblestones' create gorgeous pops of colour throughout her branding, stationary and packaging design. These also looked great throughout her website i created for her.
