I absolutely loved working with Jess from Bambinibop who has a passion for handmaking gorgeous bows for babies and little girls that are personalised for that unique touch. Jess wanted a logo and branding that was elegant, soft and completely mesmerising to capture the little sparkle her bows bring to every Mumma and her daughter.
The Inspiration
The inspiration for the brand was warm neutrals with a cozy and elegant feel and a touch of sparkle.
The Colour Pallet
Using the pictures from our inspiration board, I then create the brand colour pallet. I take great care in choosing the 6 most flattering colours that not only compliment one another but bring the brand to life as a whole.
The Logo Design
I wanted the logo to look not only beautiful, but unique. I knew I had to add a touch of sparkle and a hand drawn illustration of her handmade bow to the design.
The Brand Board
I love the way I simplified her logo into a submark using the elements from her main logo. The Little 'B' inside the bigger 'B' represents the mumma and daughter. The bow on the left is held together by the 'B's and completely balances out the design giving a loving, caring and neutering feel. The sparkle inside the 'B' represents the joy each bow brings to every Mumma.
I adore her new pattern I created too, its so simple, yet so elegant and so full of meaning.
Story Highlights for Instagram
It was so easy to come up with the concept for her story icons. Her story is simple - handmade beautiful bows that bring a touch of sparkle. I've used her 6 brand colours for the background of each and then i used her hand drawn bow in each. Now the cuteness comes with the little sparkle that I added to the edge of each one, just where Jess pops the customised name for each. So sweet, right?
